EVIDENCE EXCHANGE CONGRATULATES QUALCOMM AND DR. PAUL E. JACOBS AS RECIPIENTS OF THE 2010 HIGGINBOTHAM CORPORATE LEADERSHIP AWARD
NEW YORK, NEW YORK–July 2, 2009–As part of Evidence Exchange's committment to corpotate leadership we proudly supported the Lawyers' Committee and their presentation of the Higginbotham Corporate Leadership Award to Qualcomm and Dr. Paul Jacobs, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
In 2000, the Lawyers' Committee established the Higginbotham Corporate Leadership to recognize exemplary corporate leadership in advancing equal opportunity and diversity. The award is named in honor of Judge A. Leon Higginbotham Jr., a pioneering civil rights advocate, author and federal appeals court judge. Honoring Qualcomm employees worldwide, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law has recognized Qualcomm for corporate leadership in advancing diversity and equal opportunity, by awarding Qualcomm Chairman and CEO, Dr. Paul Jacobs with the 2010 Higginbotham Corporate Leadership Award.
Along with several client representatives, members of the Evidence Exchange management team attend the award dinner, which was held in the Broadway ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel. The evening proceedings where hosted by Evan R. Chesler, presiding partner, Cravath, Swaine & Moore, and attended by numerous representitives from the legal community. Among the speakers were former president and honorary dinner chairman William Jefferson Clinton and Qualcomm's founder Dr. Irving Jacobs.
