EVIDENCE EXCHANGE TO PRESENT AT ABA TECHSHOW
(NEW YORK, NY) October 17, 2001
Evidence Exchange will be exhibiting the Secure Digital Photocopier March 14-16, 2002 at the American Bar Association Techshow at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers in Chicago. The Secure Digital Photocopier (SDP) is a significant invention that will revolutionize the computer discovery process. Test trials demonstrate a 75% savings through use of the Evidence Exchange service.

The SDP takes any format of electronic files and converts them to PDF files that can be read, searched and printed. The files are digitally notarized and a numbered, marked and branded library of PDF files is created on CD-ROM. These branded PDF files can be numbered and re-numbered, marked confidential, and still retain a cryptographic link through the PDF file back to the original file for authentication purposes, thus solving the problem of authenticating digital evidence at trial.

Evidence Exchange has been at the forefront of legal document processing since its inception in 1996 and has developed many of the tools and techniques now accepted as standards in the field. It is the first company to provide a system for securely duplicating documents of disparate types so that there is a cryptographically secure link between the copy and the original. This innovative process is called the Secure Digital Photocopier (SDP) and works by taking electronic files of any format and converting them to readable, searchable, printable PDF files, while it fingerprints and digitally notarizes them so they are secure through the entire discovery process.
