EVIDENCE EXCHANGE SUPPORTS ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS AT QUEENSBOROUGH COMMUNITY COLLEGE & MFY LEGAL SERVICES

Evidence Exchange has always been involved in supporting the community in various out-reach and support programs. This year, Evidence Exchange has selected Queensborough Community College as the worthy recipient of their scholarship program and is assisting MFY Legal Services in various community capacities.

Operating within the framework of The City University of New York, Queensborough Community College is committed to fostering a collaborative, learning-centered community and dedicated to academic excellence. The college is committed to the development of the whole individual in an environment that promotes intellectual inquiry, global awareness, and lifelong active learning.

Founded on the principle of equal access to justice for all, MFY Legal Services works in concert with community organizations to provide free civil legal assistance to those in greatest need. From advice to full representation and impact litigation, MFY’s work has helped tens of thousands of New Yorkers since 1963.

Evidence Exchange has been at the forefront of legal document processing since its inception in 1996 and has developed many of the tools and techniques now accepted as standards in the field. It is the first company to provide a system for securely duplicating documents of disparate types so that there is a cryptographically secure link between the copy and the original. This innovative process is called the Secure Digital Photocopier (SDP) and works by taking electronic files of any format and converting them to readable, searchable, printable PDF and/or TIFF files, while it fingerprints and digitally notarizes them so they are secure through the entire discovery process.
