EVIDENCE EXCHANGE FOUNDERS PARTICIPATE IN HARVARD
LAW SCHOOL'S ONLINE DIGITAL DISCOVERY SEMINAR
(NEW YORK, NY) May 23, 2001
The founders of Evidence Exchange, Michael Prounis and Myron Eagle, were invited
by Professor Charles Nesson to participate in Digital Discovery, an online
interactive CLE offering sponsored by the Berkman Center for Internet and
Society at Harvard Law School. The course, held April 23 - 30, 2001, and led
by Professor Nesson explored the possibilities and complexities of discovery
in the digital age and looked at the pressing, controversial and interesting
issues of digital discovery.
Evidence Exchange has been at the forefront of legal document processing since its inception in 1996 and has developed many of the tools and techniques now accepted as standards in the field. It is the first company to provide a system for securely duplicating documents of disparate types so that there is a cryptographically secure link between the copy and the original. This innovative process is called the Secure Digital Photocopier (SDP) and works by taking electronic files of any format and converting them to readable, searchable, printable PDF files, while it fingerprints and digitally notarizes them so they are secure through the entire discovery process.
