EVIDENCE EXCHANGE HAS FILED WITH NEW YORK STATE BAR ASSOCIATION FOR COURSE APPROVAL
(NEW YORK, NY) - July 11, 2002
Evidence Exchange has filed with the New York State Bar Association for approval of its course "Planning for Problem Cases: The Production of Electronic Evidence." The course is designed to teach companies ways to deal with electronic data discovery requests and other issues concerning electronic evidence.

The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) is the largest statewide voluntary professional association with over 70,000 members. It is composed principally of practicing attorneys, judges, law teachers, and many non-practicing lawyers who are business executives, government officials, court administrators and so forth. It represents practitioners in specialized areas of law, as well as affiliated, law-related organizations and groups with special interests or needs.

Evidence Exchange has been at the forefront of legal document processing since its inception in 1996 and has developed many of the tools and techniques now accepted as standards in the field. It is the first company to provide a system for securely duplicating documents of disparate types so that there is a cryptographically secure link between the copy and the original. This innovative process is called the Secure Digital Photocopier (SDP) and works by taking electronic files of any format and converting them to readable, searchable, printable PDF files, while it fingerprints and digitally notarizes them so they are secure through the entire discovery process.
